Eagle Scout Leadership Project, Day 3, Wednesday November
26, 2008:
The rain began Tuesday night and we went to bed to the sound
of a light rain. But when morning came the clouds above were holding
their own.
The work crew showed up again at 9AM and began stringing up
the fence. People would take breaks to fill the trash dumpster with
ice plant. With only a break for a pizza lunch, they worked until
2:30. The fence complete.
Wednesday's crew put in an additional 46 man-hours of
service bringing the three day total to over 170 hours. Adding in
Blaine's additional prep and in-between work, the entire project has already
exceeded over 208 hours of work.
The only remaining part of the project will be putting the
final ice plant into the dumpster next week, after the trash truck comes on
Tuesday.
